Dryers: Dryers are one of the leading causes of house fires. It typically comes from a build up of lint, so be sure to clean your dryer vent regularly.
Garages: Garages are built with firewalls nowadays for very good reason. Too many homes have caught on fire from the garage. So never keep gas cans in the garage, oily rags, or other items that could catch fire.
Kitchens: Be sure to keep your vent fan free of grease and oil. Never leave anything on the stove unattended, and be sure to double check the stove before leaving the room.
